Grigore Albeanu, Florin Popentiu –Vladicescu, Bernard Burtschy. Soft Computing Strategies in Multiobjective Optimization. In Proceedings of MASR (MODELLING and ANALYSIS of SAFETY and RISK in COMPLEX SYSTEMS), July 03 - July 07, 2012, Saint-Petersburg, Russia. 2012.

Abstract: Traditional optimization methods applied to solve real life problems can experience local or unstable behavior. Researchers proposed recently non-traditional search and optimization methods based on natural phenomena like natural evolution, social behavior, and annealing. This paper considers migration algorithms and bees’ algorithms as good candidates to solve multi-objective optimization problems.

Keywords: multi-objective optimization, evolution strategies, natural evolution, social behavior
